Threads & Co. had built a loyal customer base through Instagram and a basic website. But their checkout experience was poor on mobile, cart abandonment was high, and they had no way to build lasting customer relationships beyond a social media follow.

They needed a proper mobile app — one that would match the quality of their brand and give their customers a shopping experience that converted.

The Challenge

Fashion e-commerce has specific requirements that generic shopping templates do not handle well: size guides, product variants, high-quality image galleries, and the kind of browsing experience that makes customers want to explore. We also needed to integrate with their existing inventory system and handle Pakistani payment methods — JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and bank transfer — alongside card payments.

What We Built

Native iOS and Android apps built with React Native for consistent performance across both platforms.

Product catalogue with advanced filtering by category, size, colour, and price range. High-resolution image galleries with zoom. Size guide integrated on every product page.

Cart and Checkout: A simplified three-step checkout with address book, saved payment methods, and order summary. Cart abandonment rate dropped from 71% to 29% compared to the mobile website.

Payment Integration: JazzCash, EasyPaisa, credit/debit card via Stripe, and cash on delivery. All major Pakistani payment methods supported.

Loyalty Programme: A points system where customers earn on every purchase and redeem for discounts. 68% of customers enrolled in the loyalty programme within 90 days of launch.

Order Tracking: Real-time order status with push notifications at each stage from confirmation to delivery.

The Result

The app generated PKR 12 million in sales in its first 60 days. Monthly active users reached 45,000 within four months of launch. The client considers it the most impactful investment they have made in the business.
