Pick your stack

Our philosophy is simple: the right tool for the product, and boring-reliable beats hype every time. We run our own SaaS products on these stacks, so every recommendation is one we live with ourselves.

Not sure which stack fits your product?

Tell us what you are building and we will recommend the stack we would use for our own product, with the reasons in writing.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

What is a tech stack?

A tech stack is the set of languages, frameworks, databases, and infrastructure a product is built on: the frontend users see, the backend that runs the logic, the database that holds the data, and the cloud that hosts it all.

Why does the choice of stack matter?

The stack shapes how fast you can ship, how easily you can hire, how well the product scales, and how much maintenance costs over the years. A sensible choice up front is far cheaper than a rewrite later, which is why we favor proven technologies over whatever is trending.

How do you choose a stack for a new product?

We start from the product: expected load, real-time needs, team skills, and time to market. Then we pick the most boring, proven option that meets those needs. We build and run our own SaaS products, so we only recommend stacks we would bet our own uptime on.

Can a stack be changed later?

Yes, but migrations cost real time and money, so it is better to choose well up front. When a change is genuinely needed, we migrate in phases with a modular architecture, so the live product keeps running while components move over one at a time.

What if my stack is not listed here?

The pages here cover the stacks we are asked about most, not everything we work in. With 100+ engineers across web, mobile, data, and AI, there is a good chance we cover yours too. Ask through the contact form and you will get a straight yes or no.
